On the other hand, Anurag Ganguly, a student of Mahesh Sri Ramakrishna Mission, secured the 6th rank in the state with 491 marks.

Megha, a resident of Chatra in Serampore, said that although she expected to do well in the examination, she never imagined achieving such an extraordinary result. “I feel extremely happy. My family and teachers are all very proud and happy,” she said. Megha aspires to clear the UPSC examination and become a civil servant in the future. She also wishes to pursue higher studies and research in Economics. According to her, she did not follow any fixed study schedule but studied regularly for long hours. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, singing, playing chess, and watching movies.

Megha’s mother said, “She expected to score around 487 marks, but we never thought she would perform this well. We are extremely happy. She wants to become a civil servant in the future, and her dream is our dream too.”

Meanwhile, Anurag Ganguly, a resident of Baidyabati, is equally delighted with his achievement. He said that instead of studying according to a strict timetable, he studied whenever he felt motivated. On average, he studied for around 10 to 12 hours a day. Anurag aims to pursue higher studies in English and become a professor in the future. His advice to upcoming candidates is, “Students must study their textbooks thoroughly; that is the key to success.”

The outstanding achievements of these two students have created an atmosphere of joy and celebration among their families, schools, and the entire locality.
